U-Haul Moving & Storage at Gandy Blvd
Staff here earn consistent praise for courtesy and speed. Roland's safety intervention on a faulty auto-transport trailer and Tara's intervention to honor a customer's quote from another location stand out as moments where employees went beyond their job. On the flip side, a handful of reviewers encountered dismissive staff or billing problems that left them frustrated, though these are far outnumbered by five-star experiences. The location handles high volume without much wait, and equipment is typically clean and roadworthy. Most customers arrive to rent moving trucks or trailers and leave satisfied with the transaction. Those who opted for propane refill or trailer hitch installation reported quick, knowledgeable service. One billing dispute dragged on for a week with repeated collection attempts despite a same-day return. Professionalism varies by staff member, but the standout team members (Roland, Tara, Bill, Mike, Alexis) create enough positive momentum that this Gandy Blvd location has earned a solid reputation in South Tampa.
