Most visits yield friendly service and a well-organized store stocked with farm, pet, and outdoor gear at fair prices. A minority report product defects and one frustrating instance of a manager giving false stock information on consecutive days, though staff generally work hard despite understaffing.
Most shoppers praise the staff's friendliness and the store's convenient location in North Fort Myers. Prices are fair and the selection works well for farmers, pet owners, and rural households. One customer flagged empty shelves and incorrect discounts at checkout, though the business responded quickly to that concern.
Reviewers consistently praise Blossman for treating small residential jobs with the same priority as large commercial work. Staff members like Alex, Michael, Bruce, and Jennifer earn frequent mentions for professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to reschedule around customer and appliance issues. Online account access and rapid dispatch (often within 24 hours) make routine refills painless. One customer credits them for catching an inaccurate propane tank reading that another company had flagged incorrectly. Installation quality stands out across fireplace retrofits, water heaters, and generator tank setups. Technicians arrive with clean work habits and detailed knowledge. Pricing is described as affordable compared to competitors. Emergency fills are expedited, with one same-day delivery noted. The business has served the area since 1951 and covers multiple Southwest Florida towns.
Most customers praise the staff's professionalism and knowledge, citing clean grounds and quick turnaround on services like hitch installation. A minority complain about tight lot layout, dismissive handling of damage disputes, and occasional rudeness from staff.
BJ's Wholesale Club in Fort Myers draws shoppers for competitive prices and convenient access, with staff friendliness noted by regulars. A serious complaint about racial profiling emerged alongside positive feedback on pricing and product quality, though the incident appears isolated within a largely positive 3.9-star rating.
Most customers report quick response and named staff who go the extra mile, especially for emergency deliveries. Strengths include a tank-monitoring app and technicians like Nikki, Christine, and Terry who earn repeated praise. The friction point is refill pricing: charged per tank rather than gallon, which customers see as overpriced compared to competitors. Scheduling and follow-up have deteriorated since acquisition by Thompson Gas, with some appointments canceled without notice and customer service gaps lasting months. Service quality splits between install and repair work (well-reviewed) and the business end (confusing pricing, dropped communication). Management conduct has drawn complaints. Open hours listed as 7 days, but a few customers found gates closed before stated closing time.
Strong regular customers praise staff like John (manager) and William (equipment specialist) for their attentiveness and efficiency, with many noting exceptional service during pickups and drop-offs. However, billing disputes recur: customers report being charged for fuel they didn't use, equipment they didn't receive, and other unexplained fees, with refunds taking days or requiring manager escalation. One reviewer was turned away for propane an hour before closing because no staff was available to fill tanks.
Reviewers consistently praise the facility as clean, affordable, and well-managed over many years. The on-site manager Kevin is named repeatedly for going above and beyond for customers.
The location delivers fast, friendly service on good days, with multiple customers praising staff warmth and smooth transactions. However, staffing shortages create bottlenecks, and recent visits describe rude staff, hour-long waits, and poor moving labor, suggesting inconsistent management.
